Derivatives Market Summary

  • Nifty Oct’09 fell marginally 0.62% to 4967.25 on the back of three-day holiday ahead. Sideways movements were seen through-out the day.
  • KFA Oct’09 contract jumped 7.25% while CHAMBLFERT rose 6.11% due to increased long positions in their contracts.
  • On the other side, SESAGOA Oct’09 series lost 6.42% while WELGUJ too erased 3.92% with increased short selling pressure during the day.
  • Put-Call Ratio (PCR) escalated to 1.16 from 1.16 for the previous day.
  • FIIs were net buyers in index options, while they were net sellers in stock futures and index futures.
