- Micro Technologies India said that the product on new delivery will happen in next 3 years. Thecompany has got order of $ 3 million and it can be expanded to $ 5 million. Company will realise $ 3 million by the end of the current fiscal year. Securities contribute 60% of revenues while messaging contributes 17% of the revenues. Rest comes from IT segment.
- HUL is going to sell 5 residential properties in Mumbai. HUL could get about Rs 35 crore via sale of properties.
- Moser Baer releases hindi film Phir Kabhi directly on DVD. This hindi film will not release in theaters. The DVD is priced at Rs 99, while VCD costs Rs 60. The film is produced by UTV Motion Pictures.
- Diamond Cables bags EPC order for 21,415 KM. Company said that its current order book position is over Rs 1,000 crore.
- Reliance Industries (RIL) is planning to purchase some or all of LyondellBasell, currently in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The deal could be worth $3.25 billion. The deal would enable RIL to provide feedstock for LyondellBasell, which it currently buys in from Shell and Hoechst.
- Unitech is going to sell apartments in Mumbai SRA project to investors. The realty major will formally launch Worli project in September 2010. Unitech is offering the investors discounted rate of Rs 12,800-13,800 per sq ft. Industry sources say that the price is about 40% below market price.
