Corporate Highlights

• TVS Motors has come out with the sales numbers for the month of July. Its total 2-wheeler sales stood at 1.21 lakh units Vs 1.2 lakh units (YoY). Scooter sales stood at 27,673 units Vs 24,156 units (YoY). July exports of TVS Motors stood at 13,061 units Vs 16,015 units (YoY).

• Maruti Suzuki has come out with the sales numbers for the month of July. Its total sales for the month of July stood at 78,074 units Vs 58,543 units (YoY). July exports stood at 10,546 units Vs 5,632 units (YoY)

• McNally Bharat Engineering Company has received an order for Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Blance of Plant on EPC basis including Civil works for 1X270 MW Coal Based Power Project of Ideal Energy Projects Ltd (IEPL) near village Bela at Nagpur, Maharashtra for a value of Rs 414 crores.

• Unitech Q1FY10 consolidated net sales (YoY) stood at Rs 514.9 crore Vs Rs 1,031.6 crore and net profit stood at Rs 157.7 crore Vs 423.3 crore. Real Estate revenue (YoY) stood at Rs 362.3 crore Vs Rs 914 crore. Total outstanding loans of the company stood at Rs 8,262 crore. The company has completed Rs 1,000 crore of non-core asset sales in Q1FY10. The company launched 17 msf of space in Q1 and sold 7 msf in different cities. The company is on target to launch 30 msf of projects in FY10
