Derivatives Market Summary:

• Nifty July’09 jumped 3.69% for the day to close at 4113.75 for thd day. Its open interest increased by 11.79% as compared to previous trading day.

• ROLTA July’09 contract gained 4.84% on the back of increased buying interest. Similarly, TATACHEM rose 4.82% with fresh buying.

• YESBANK skyrocketed 7.54%, UNIONBANK added 5.28% and ISPATIND increased 6.25% for the day.

• The Put-Call Ratio (PCR) for total F&O increased to 0.96 from 0.90 for previous day.

• FIIs were net buyers in both stock futures and index futures.
