  • Punj Lloyd Q1 cons net sales at Rs 2,955.1 Cr Vs Rs 2,648.8 Cr; cons net profit at Rs 127.2 Cr Vs Rs 111.9 Cr (YoY); The company is expecting surge in business in India.   • GAIL, the country’s largest gas marketing company would invest Rs 8,000 crore to expand its pipeline network. Of this, Rs 7,600 crore would be invested in constructing a 2,050 km pipeline from Jagdishpur to Haldia. This is so far the single largest investment in any pipeline by GAIL
  • Power equipment supplier BGR Energy Systems has bagged an order worth $80.5 million (nearly Rs 387.83 crore) from State Company for Oil Projects, Iraq for development of two gas fields.
  • Infrastructure developer Subhash Projects & Marketing (SPML) has bagged three orders worth Rs 151.80 crore from different government agencies for construction-related projects.
